A PNG is made from pixels. An SVG is built from paths and shapes. That difference matters.
When a raster PNG is enlarged beyond its useful resolution, its pixel grid becomes increasingly visible and edges can look blurry or jagged. A properly vectorized SVG describes the artwork using geometry instead. Its paths are redrawn at the size you need.

How to Convert PNG to SVG

Choose Your Vectorization Settings
Select Full Color or Black & White depending on the artwork. Adjust color count, detail, smoothing, and transparency where needed.
Preview the SVG
Compare the vector result with the original PNG before downloading. Look at the shapes, colors, edges, and level of detail rather than only checking whether the two images appear identical at normal size.
Simplify if Needed
If the SVG contains more colors or small details than your project requires, reduce the color count or tracing detail and preview it again. Simpler artwork usually creates simpler paths.
